My design journey began with a B.A. in Fine Art from Cheltenham School of Art in England. What started as a chance opportunity designing for record labels and club nights in the 90s evolved into work with boutique agencies, larger firms, and the BBC.
 
New Zealand won me over during a year-long cycling adventure, and in 2004 I took a leap and emigrated to Te Waipounamu / South Island. I eventually settled in Wānaka, a haven for outdoor folks and the perfect backdrop for creative endeavours.

My expertise and interest is in bringing your idea to life through branding and website design. Years of hands-on experience working as a creative director both in agencies and directly with start-ups means I bring a holistic approach and perspective that usually involves a bigger team.

My passion is in helping new brands to find their ‘feeling’ and breathing life into it through meticulous design.

I work with a flat fee, a clearly defined scope, and set a clear timeline upfront. This ensures clients understand exactly what to expect, when they’ll get it, and what it costs — before any work begins. My strength lies in my versatility as a generalist: if I identify elements outside the initial scope that should be considered, I’ll highlight them.

While I follow a defined methodology, I adopt a flexible, iterative approach in the early stages, aiming to reach a point where everything feels ‘right.’ From there we’ll review together, decide on the best directions to explore further, and refine the work through additional iterations until the brief is fully addressed.
